Because we got in late the night before Lynde got up early and cleaned up Big Gal. Today we finished crossing the barren Nevada. We rode 386 miles today,
starting with a cool 62 degrees & and a high of 85, which made perfect riding weather. We started out on the

Grand Army of the Republic Hwy , and then cont. on the Extraterrestrial Hwy. Stopped at Rachel but ET wasn't home, "ET phone home". We managed to squeeze out 163 miles on one tank with no problem and then had an excellent lunch at the Windmill Ridge in Alamo, NV. Once we got to Hwy 14

Dixie National Forest the roads got more scenic and curvy all the way to Kanub.
Oh Geez, I was anxiously awaiting the report from my old home town and I get nothing for Sunday. A little 200 mile day and no report. Hope everything is o.k. I will be checking again tonight and tomorrow morning.
ReplyDeleteOh I get it now. Of course, no wi fi in Mexican Hat. Can't wait to see pictures of the slot canyon and the Mexican Hat. I bet right now you are walking through the "Hole in the Rock" house. Very interesting and cool. I know you can get on line in Cortez.
ReplyDeleteHello Lynde and all...enjoying these photos and good to know you're on your way. Happy for you that the weather is cooperating! Stay safe!!
